Recession

  Recession:

A recession is a decline in a country's gross domestic product (GDP) growth for two or more consecutive quarters of a year. A recession is also preceded by several quarters of slowing down.

causes:

An economy which grows over a period of time tends to slow down the growth as a part of the normal economic cycle. An economy typically expands for 6-10 years and tends to go into a recession for about six months to 2 years.

A recession normally takes place when consumers lose confidence in the growth of the economy and spend less.

This leads to a decreased demand for goods and services, which in turn leads to a decrease in production, lay-offs and a sharp rise in unemployment.

Investors spend less as they fear stocks values will fall and thus stock markets fall on negative sentiment.

Stock markets & recession :

The economy and the stock market are closely related. The stock markets reflect the buoyancy of the economy.

The Sensex crashed by nearly 13 per cent in just two trading sessions in January. The markets bounced back after the US Fed cut interest rates. However, stock prices are now at a low in India with little cheer coming to investors.

How to fight recession

Tax cuts are the first step that a government fighting recessionary trends or a full-fledged recession proposes to do. In the current case, the Bush government has proposed a $150-billion bailout package in tax cuts.

The government also hikes its spending to create more jobs and boost the manufacturing and services sectors and to prop up the economy. The government also takes steps to help the private sector come out of the crisis.

Are there ghosts on the Earth?

Ghosts:

What we think when ghost name appear , just name also making fear ..

This is one of the best question asked from many years...Are there ghosts on the Earth?

We don't know about this too much but there are some places which r said as haunted..

And showing or trying for giving answer that there are ghosts on earth..

Some Places:

1.Catacombs, Paris , France

 Story:

Long ago, as the city of Paris grew, it became necessary to provide more space for the living. To do so, engineers and planners decided to move the mass of humanity least likely to protest: in this case, the dead. Millions of Parisian dead were quietly disinterred in one of the largest engineering feats in history and their remains were deposited along the walls of the chilly, dank passageways lying beneath the City of Light. They lie there to this day, in the eternal darkness, an Empire of the Dead.

The Paris Catacombs are infamous and much has been written about their history and purpose. A million visitors a year are said to walk the dank corridors and to stare at the bones and gaze fixedly into the empty eye-sockets of the long dead. Many of these same visitors, and some of their guides, have encountered more than just the silence in the catacombs: they have had encounters with ghostly inhabitants that roam the empty passageways and mutely follow the tour groups around.

2.Haunted New Orleans, Louisiana

Story:

With 200 years of ghostly legends involving Voodoo curses, Spanish moss draped oak encircled duels, cold-blooded murders, Stories of Revolutionary War Pirates and Civil War soldiers, and Jazz. New Orleans has earned a serious reputation as one of Haunted New Orleans Tours most haunted cities. Locals say that the concentration of extremes leaves the city open to ghosts within the homes and businesses of Central New Orleans.

 3: Sedlec Ossuary, Czech Republic

Story:

Henry, the abbot of the Cistercian monastery in Sedlec, was sent to the Holy Land by King Otakar II of Bohemia in 1278. When he returned, he brought with him a small amount of earth he had removed from Golgotha and sprinkled it over the abbey cemetery. The word of this pious act soon spread and the cemetery in Sedlec became a desirable burial site throughout Central Europe. During the Black Death in the mid 14th century, and after the Hussite Wars in the early 15th century, many thousands of people were buried there and the cemetery had to be greatly enlarged.

 4: Underground Vaults, Edinburgh, Scotland.

Story:

Far below the busy streets of modern Edinburgh lies a dark, forgotten corner of history. Discovered in the mid-1980’s, the Edinburgh Vaults had been abandoned for nearly two hundred years. Lying beneath the South Bridge, a major Edinburgh passage, the rooms were used as cellars, workshops and even as residences by the businesses that plied their trade on the busy bridge above. Abandoned soon after they were built due to excessive water and moisture, the vaults remain, unaltered, never illuminated by the light of day.

This location is said to be very haunted. Many visitors have been attacked by the unseen and left with bruises, cuts, and scratches. Others have been knocked unconscious and overcome by debilitating nausea and vomiting.

 5: Coliseum, Rome, Italy.

Story:

At the height of Rome’s power the Coliseum represented everything that was Imperial to the citizens of Rome. Gladiators would fight to the death here for the amusement of Caesar and the mobs; thousands of prisoners of war and victims of religious persecution met their end in the jaws of lions and tigers in the sandy arena of the Coliseum; and even those animals were decimated, for in its time the Coliseum consumed tens of thousands of animals, some reportedly driven into extinction by the Roman lust for blood and gore.

The workings of the Coliseum, the place where the real grit of life took place, were in the vaults beneath the sandy floor. Now long ago exposed by the ravages of time, there is still a pervasive feeling of awe associated with the lingering presence of a power so mighty it once encompassed the entire known world.

..

These R the top 5 places which r considered as most haunted places on the earth..

Can we belive that these places r really haunted? We can belive only at instant, when there r proofs & people experiences something..

Some psycholigist says that this is all matter of psychology of our mind, But then also question remain about experiences of people.

According to me,we can't say anything about it upto when we have no proof & no experiences.

Please,share your experiences..

Is animation really money making?

Today most of the the animation institutes promise or say offer that they give a job of about 40,000+ salary.

Currently, the Indian animation industry employs around 7000-10,000 animators in India and is facing immediate demand of manpower 30,000. India will need skilled professionals like creative animators, conceptualisers, visualisers, 3D modellers, character designers, digital effects artists and so on who will be able to handle multimedia softwares such as 3D studio Max, Maya, Tictactoon etc.

As if this isn’t enough - TV channels and producers of soaps are demanding the visual effects skills that graphic designers and animators provide. And TV budgets are high, ranging from Rs 2-3 lakhs per episode.

The animation industry in India is growing at 30 percent annually and will touch $1 b by 2010 ($ 360 million in 2006-7) and this will create at least two lakh jobs by 2010! Some feel that the industry will grow to $1.5 billion by 2009!

Naturally, salaries are rising. Freshers start off on a salary of Rs 8,000-15,000, depending on the company they join and in about 3-4 years they can easily earn from Rs Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000. And after that the sky is the limit as there are talented animators who earn about a lakh a month with just 7-10 years of experience.

And now even those who went wary of joining this field are eager to do so…not just because of the good salaries but because they don’t have to do the donkey’s work while someone in the US does the creative. The opportunities of doing satisfying creative work is increasing every day.

But the bad news for India is that there aren’t enough animators. And there is a 35 percent attrition rate in the industry. The demand for animators has risen over the past few years and training schools have not kept up with the rise in demand. Yes, inspite of us having a thriving film industry, the production of original animation films has been miniscule - but all this has started to change, the market being driven by the technically superior animation films from Hollywood. Indian film producers have started taking risks. And the recent success of Hanuman has shown them that the Indian market is ready for home-grown animation films.

Just look at the latest developments in this industry:

1. Yashraj Films has tied up with Walt Disney Studios to make a series of original computer-animated feature films. Today only animation film Wall E got 1 oscar award for best animation.

2. Maya Entertainment is also making original animation feature films….a film based on mythology and another an adventure film. containing a substantial amount of visual effects.

Now, in this situation Animation can be cosidered as money making.

But if we look at newly opened Animation institutes or schools , offering education with 100%jobs

that too 40,000+ for freshers , feedbacks are not positive.

One feedback of a student:

Every companies are looking for experince candaties
what about freshers.Nasscom report tells that india need aroudly 1Lakh Animator there is no Requirements for freshers
every one speaking about their Animation Schools like ArenaMultimedia, imageMultimedia ,ColorChips Animtion Hyderabad these are cheating students and Earning a lot of MONEY from STUDENTS Even Though There facultys knows Nothing thats way they are CHEATING PEOPLE.Only Suggestion to students who are going to join in Such training centers Think once Before joining
